The weather was near perfect when 83 A,B & C grade players hit the course on day 1 of the two-day 36hole Whyalla Open. Day 2 became a bit more challenging for players (particularly in the afternoon) with some fairly stiff breeze to contend with. Overall two great days of golf were had. It was particularly pleasing to see a number of players representing 10 ‘out-of-town’ clubs joining with our locals.
