The Whyalla Golf – Bowling Club functions from its’ clubrooms adjacent to the Golf Club main building. The Club operates with local competitions from October through to April each year. The immaculately prepared greens are among the last non-artificial greens maintained in rural SA. Water for these greens is supplied through the same waste-water recycling system that irrigates the golf course.
In 2015 the Bowling Club clubrooms were replaced, with the new premises including bar and kitchen facilities, an al fresco area and disability toilets.
