A tight competition for the A grade Championship was eagerly anticipated and did not fail observers. Congratulations to Chad McLean on his win over club new-comer Sam Pearson. Pearson has proved a worthy challenger for the club’s top spot and will certainly be a player to watch in the coming year.
The B grade Championship went comfortably to Keith Wade over rival Gary Yates (9 & 7).
The C grade Championship saw well prepared and very keen semi-finalist Roger Thompson denied the battle and awarded the win by forfeit. His opponent John Wade was unable to compete after admission to Whyalla Hospital. We wish John a speedy recovery.
