Following the recent Whyalla Golf and Bowling Club AGM, two items that were discussed have been further addressed by the relevant club committees.
Item 1: A request from a small group of golfers who play very regularly, asked if a “7 day Membership” (with appropriate fee) could be considered by the club. See Board response below.
Item 2: Request that women members be allowed to participate equally in the Saturday competition including ability to win trophies.
Response: Participation by all golfers on Saturday will be the same as current Sunday Competition. Women golfers will be graded according to handicap groupings for usual Saturday Competition i.e. A grade 0 – 12; B grade 13 – 21; C grade 22+.
