Members for your information we have recently had 2 significant sponsorships in support of the Golf Club. One being the grant we received from Council for the purchase of the driving mats on the practice fairway which was also supported by Ewings Transport who donated the 2 concrete slabs and delivered them to site for us. They were also ably supported by CBCH cranes who donated their crane and labour to unload Ewings truck and placed the slabs in position. All in all if the club had to pay for all of this it would cost in the region of $15,000 so a lot of goodwill supporting us. As members would be aware we recently purchased 5 quality second hand Golf Carts. We have been successful in having one of those carts sponsored by a company called RISUN who are a Chinese company who are the biggest independent Blast Furnace coke supplier in the World. Their operation is based in Indonesia. As you can see by the attached photo all of this support by Council, Ewings, CBCH and Risun helps provide facilities that we would otherwise not be able to fund by ourselves and as can be seen both members and Juniors benefit from having these quality facilities to help sustain and grow the club. So if you cross paths with the Ewings Transport Guys, CBCH Cranes, Risun and Council staff supporting us please be sure to thank them by acknowledging their contribution….They don’t have to support us but they do.
