Many members and visitors (particularly state-wide visitors here for the Women’s Silver Salver comp) have remarked on the turn-around of the course.
In January this year, with a week of over 40°, out-of-action pumps, virus infections and hungry kangaroos, the survival of the course looked pretty grim! But through the effort of many volunteers, regularly hand-watering of greens and the dedicated work of a ground staff team, the course is looking great.
Our particular thanks go to Dave Carpenter, Dave Tilley and Pete Scheide, pictured working on yet another system repair.
