Twilight Golf is a lot of Fun and is held in a friendly, social atmosphere – come and be in it! You don’t have to be an A grade golfer – but if you are, that’s fine too!
The format will be similar to previous years with a few changes mainly to the after-match menu, with the addition of more prizes (see Prizes below).
The competition is stableford with points being awarded each week leading to prizes and presentation on 23rd Feb 2018. There will be a total of 16 nights of competition, and Club member’s normal handicaps are not affected. For full details on handicapping and scoring please chat with Murray.
The competition runs on Friday evenings during the summer months from Oct to Feb (with a short break over Xmas weeks).
Cost for the competition is $7 which includes golf, raffle and lucky draw. If you are staying for after-game light meal total fee is $12. This year Murray has planned a tasty varied menu including BBQ, Pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs and lots more (currently negotiating on Subway). The bar is open as usual.
Prizes – There will be Weekly Voucher prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd as well as ball prizes for ‘nearest the pin’ and ‘Birdies’ on designated holes. There will also be a Mystery Pair prize of a $10 Golf Club voucher for each player, plus two ‘Lucky Player’ prizes of $10 Club vouchers.
Games start between 4:30 – 5:30 pm and hire equipment is available.
